ASHLEY AND JACKSON had a club hit with 'Solid Gold' but, I think, got dropped soon after this. This wasn't a strong song but I imagined the remix as a real U.S. Garage/classy Disco track. I got loads of ideas off old Disco records like NYTRO - NYTRO EXPRESS and PENTHOUSE ORCHESTRA - LET ME BE YOUR FANTASY - I was checking out the percussion breakdowns. I ended up putting a huge one on this remix, along with a Jazzy sax solo from GARY (with the usual JAMES TAYLOR on keys). I was very happy with this and wished they'd have put the instrumental mix on the 12"  as well.
