I produced this record years ago, at the same time as the 'MESSAGE FROM THE GODFATHER' L.P. on Ubiquity. It's quite a departure for James, as its in that Disco/Boogie mould (he was influenced by POSITIVE FORCE - WE GOT THE FUNK). The Roy Ayers vibes - solo was actually lifted off of another unissued J.T.Q. track but sits perfectly on this one. I think its excellent.
