I have a music history book published on the UK Jazz Dance scene called “From Jazz Funk & Fusion To Acid Jazz – The History Of The UK Jazz Dance Scene”. It was published in 2008 by ‘Beecool’.
I am a columnist and Jazz and Funk reviewer for the long-running and world-famous ‘Blues And Soul’ magazine (www.bluesandsoul.com). I'm also a frequent contributor to RECORD COLLECTOR magazine.
I was a contributor to a book on the history of the uniquely Washington D.C.- based Funk music called sGO-GO - which is a passion of mine. My contribution is an essay on my first 12" single 'BRING ON THE BEAT' (see discography) which is a GO- GO track, and the U.K. GO-GO scene of the 1980's. The book is entitled THE BEAT - GO-GO'S FUSION OF FUNK AND HIP HOP by KIP LORNELL and CHARLES C. STEPHENSON Jr. (Billboard Books), and my contribution - the GO-GO according to Snowboy - is on pages 34 to 37.
