Ashley And Jackson had a club hit with 'Solid Gold' but, I think, got dropped soon after this. This wasn't a strong song but I imagined the remix as a real 70's Disco influenced Soulful Garage track. I got loads of ideas off old Disco records like Nytro – 'Nytro Express' and Penthouse Orchestra - 'Let Me Be Your Fantasy'. I was checking out the percussion breakdowns. I ended up putting a huge one on this remix, along with a Jazzy sax solo from Gary (with the usual James Taylor on keys). I was very happy with this and wished they'd have put the instrumental mix on the 12" as well.
