Big Life Records were managing me as a remixer/producer and they got me a couple of nice bits. This was quite stressful as London Beat had recently had a hit and were on a major label as well, therefore a lot of record company interference. I was (and still am) into US Garage House and took this track down that route. I also put a big Brazilian 'Batucada' on it. As you can see, James Taylor is on it in a session capacity and Gary on sax, who I always use, because he's incredible. Unfortunately it charted, but wasn't a hit.
You may find it interesting to know that the young employee looking after me at Big Life was Darcus Beese; now one of the most powerful people in the music industry!
